Director, Cinematographer, Editor and Writer Kunle 'Nodash' Adejuyigbe has been crowned the best Editor for 2011 at the recently concluded IN Short International Film festival in Lagos, done in collaboration with the Goethe Institute.
He emerged winner in the Best Editing category for the movie 'The Young Smoker', directed by MNET's Tinsel director - Tope Oshin Ogun (who also won the audience choice award), written by tinsel creator, Yinka Ogun; Nodash shot and edited the short movie.
The festival themed 'Good Thinking, Good Movies' took place on Saturday, October 15th at the Silverbird Galleria Atrium. Winner of the audience choice prize, Tope Oshin Ogun will go for professional training in Germany sponsored by the Goethe institute.
Nodash who, until now, was better known as a music video director, has made a mark in the music industry for his consistently unusual approach to music videos as evidenced by such videos as Sabina's 'Gidigba' and Anis Halloway's 'We No Wanna Dance'.
